Gelato starting again soon (as soon as it stops snowing)!

New finds

This winter I've been 'sampling' a few different gelateries in london. 

Its a hard job y'know, but the benefits will be fruitful for all! 

I've made agreements with Oddono's of Selfridges (and a few other branches in the west) to make some flavours for Chateaux Gelato when the summer comes.  

Their artisan gelato is super authentic italian style, with great classic flavours and yummy texture.  

Cant't wait!

End of the summer celebration!!

This saturday at broadway market is going to be my last day selling gelato for the summer.
But to commemorate this sad occasion and to celebrate a fun first summer. We're going to do 50p off any gelato, just mention this post!

It such a gelato day!

Today I'm really excited to have some guest flavours from a new gelateria I've found near Covent Garden. Its called 'La Gelatiera' and all the gelati are made fresh each day with un-pasteurised* Jersey milk and fun, original recipes! Run by a Stephane and Antonio, a French-Italian dream team from East London; it's my new secret find of London!

This weekend's flavours, some of which are from La Gelatiera, others of which are from old favourite and masters of gelato, GINO:

Broadway Market:
Chocolate sorbet with Chilli
Strawberry Sorbet
Honey Rosemary and Orange Zest
Bergamot Sorbet
Peanut Butter
Fresh mint and chocolate chips

And As I know at least some of these flavours will be selling out, later in the day I will have Pina Colada sorbet! (Pineapple, coconut and Rum!)

N.B. when a flavour sells out I'll swap in with new flavours, so come early to get what's on the list! (But they all taste good)

*This star is to say, that all gelato is pasteurised during the making process, so those pregnant or cautious of un-pasteurised things, fear not!
